The Worrall Head is Alive, but Tiny

An engineering company the Space Instruments in Berlin built the smallest geared head ever made for cine use.

The design reminds of the original Worrall, it weighs only a fifth of them.
These, in their class unique Geared Head allows panning of 360 ° and Tilt – 45 ° to + 45 ° in the vertical. The large hand wheels, provide a fine and continuous adjustment in all directions. The perfectly balanced, smooth system is inhibited by itself and remains stable in any position. It is intended for small cameras. The center of the tilt rotation is also very low, as you can see on the pictures.
The ECC Geared Head, weighs 8 kg (18 lbs) and is easy to carry. The Head has works with tripods with a 75 mm bowl but it is fully customizable for any other bowls or flat base.

The name Mini-Worrall is already taken, we might call it Micro-Worrall.

I am very impressed with this smaller version of the Worrall Geared Head. My father would have appreciated this. Thanks for keeping the geared head alive.
